Elite Gathering Place Sets Standard with Exclusivity and Intrigue LOS ANGELES, Calif. (2011) – Hollywood's nightlife circuit continues to feel the impact from the debut of VOYEUR, an elegant and sexually sophisticated nightclub venue that has reinvented Los Angeles' after dark landscape. VOYEUR provides premium service set against a stunning backdrop featuring provocative live-art installations that add a unique avant-garde dimension to the club experience. Young entrepreneurs David Koral and Matt Bendik of Chosen Hospitality Group and nightlife veterans, Art and Allan Davis debuted VOYEUR the legendary space, formerly Peanuts, which housed one of the city's most legendary nightlife parties of the 90's, 'Grandville'. "Launching Voyeur in one of the LA's most famed venues brings a historical element that we wanted to translate aesthetically," said Koral. "We've created a timeless design with an alluring, yet tasteful experience that will stimulate the senses." Koral and Bendik (former VP of The Light Group in Las Vegas) and The Davis Brothers (who launched The Gate, Chi, Dragonfly, and The Lounge) developed and operate VOYEUR in collaboration with Nick Montealegre who oversees the venue's programming, marketing and promotions. Designed by award-wining, architect and designer Mark Zeff (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas, Sense, A Rosewood Spa at the Carlyle Hotel – New York), VOYEUR takes inspiration from the legendary lounge, Annabelle's of London and the visually mesmerizing world created in Stanley Kubrick's acclaimed movie Eyes Wide Shut. Upon arrival, guests immediately feel as if they've entered an underground sanctuary, with a noir backdrop and an understated atmosphere. Once through the exposed brick entrance hallway guests encounter massive metal sphere chandeliers with spiked lighting, black leather drapery with brass rings, green leather chesterfield sofas and reupholstered antique chairs with brass and bronze accents. Zeff and his team that included Josh Held (Lead Architect) and Sarah Mckay (Senior Designer) achieved the look of VOYEUR through a mix of antiques and custom designed pieces that blend old with new, masculine with feminine, and sexy with sophistication. VOYEUR is available for private events and has already played host to Heidi Klum's Annual Halloween Party, US Weekly's Hot Hollywood Party, Kings of Leon Official Grammy After-Party, and DeLeon Tequila Event with performances by BRMC and Cee-Lo Green. VOYEUR is located at 7969 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, and is open Thursday through Sunday. Reservations are recommended and can be made by email, reservatioins@voyeur7969.com |
